Normen Weber and Marjolaine Hequet seems to be unbeatable in C1

German C1 paddler Normen Weber  and French C1 women Marjolaine Hequet fixed their third gold medal in their third world cup race in Lofer.

With an excellent performance won Weber the classic race between St. Martin and Lofer on river Saalach before Croatian Tomislav Lepan and French Louis Lapointe.

Due to her third gold medal before Italian girl Marlene Ricciardi and German Sabrina Barm on third place, the French girl Hequets leads the world cup ranking with a clear distance.


Third race in Lofer and third different winner in K1 men with Czech Kamil Mruzek. Austrian world cup leader Gerhard Schmid on second place and French Felix Bouvet on third place after a closed and exciting race.

Second gold medal in K1 women goes to Sabine Eichenberger from Switzerland, who leads the ranking before the last race in Vienna. Her teammade Deborah Fogel won her second silver before the German girl Maria Hollerieth.

After the surprising gold medal of the Austrian boys in Sprint C2 men they were also in classic race on gold course, but they capsized around 100 meter before the finish line and couldn't finish their race and lost their leading ship in world cup ranking. Gold and Silver went to the German boats Matthias Nies- Dominik Pesch and Rene Brücker - Normen Weber. Bronze to Vaclav Svadlena - Davind Jirka.
